Four Days in Zhangjiajie
Day 1 · Arrive in Zhangjiajie
Arrival → Hotel Check-in → Wulingyuan → Local Dinner
Arrive in Zhangjiajie and transfer to Wulingyuan, the main gateway to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park.
After checking into your hotel, take the afternoon to settle in and explore the nearby streets. Enjoy a relaxed local dinner and get ready for the mountain adventures ahead.
Day 2 · Zhangjiajie National Forest Park
Yuanjiajie → Bailong Elevator → Tianzi Mountain → Scenic Trails
Spend the day exploring the extraordinary landscapes of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park.
Visit Yuanjiajie, famous for its towering sandstone pillars, and take the Bailong Elevator for a dramatic journey above the valley. Continue towards Tianzi Mountain for sweeping views of the peaks, forests and deep valleys.
Take your time along the scenic paths and enjoy the changing views throughout the day.
Day 3 · Tianmen Mountain
Tianmen Mountain Cableway → Cliffside Walkways → Heaven’s Gate → 99-Bend Road
Head into Zhangjiajie city for a day at Tianmen Mountain.
Ride the famous cableway up the mountain, walk along the cliffside paths and take in the dramatic views from above the clouds. Visit the natural arch known as Heaven’s Gate and experience the spectacular mountain scenery from a completely different perspective.
Day 4 · The Grand Canyon & Departure
Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon → Glass Bridge → Departure
Spend your final morning exploring Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon.
Walk across the famous glass bridge suspended above the valley and enjoy the surrounding cliffs, forests and streams. After the visit, continue to the airport or railway station for your onward journey.
